1. Bexley Rental Agreement

All vehicle rentals with Bexley are subject to a detailed Rental Agreement provided with your booking confirmation or at vehicle collection. This agreement sets out the specific terms, conditions, insurance details, charges, and your responsibilities for that particular rental. If any conflict arises between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will govern the applicable rental.

2. Bexley Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from Bexley, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years old (age restrictions may vary by vehicle type, with additional charges possible for drivers under 25). Hold a valid, full driving licence appropriate for the vehicle category, held for the minimum period specified in the Bexley Rental Agreement. Provide valid identification and proof of address and present the payment card used to book at the time of vehicle collection.

3. Bexley Booking and Payment

  • Bookings can be made through our website, by phone, or in person at our Bexley location. A booking deposit may be required to confirm your reservation. 4. Bexley Vehicle Collection and Return

  • You must inspect the vehicle carefully at collection and report any pre-existing damage to Bexley immediately. A vehicle condition report will be prepared and signed by you and a Bexley staff member. Return the vehicle in the same condition as at collection, allowing for normal wear and tear. Any new damage identified after return will be assessed and charged to your account.

5. Bexley Liability and Insurance

  • Basic third-party insurance is included with all Bexley rentals. Full coverage details and excess amounts are provided in the Rental Agreement. Optional insurance products may be available to reduce your financial liability. We recommend reviewing these carefully. You are responsible for damage or loss up to the excess amount shown in the Rental Agreement.

6. Bexley Cancellation Policy

Bexley cancellation and amendment policies vary by booking type and notice period. Please consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement for the exact terms that apply. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur charges.

7. Bexley Prohibitions

You must not use a Bexley vehicle for:

  • Use of any Bexley vehicle for illegal purposes or activities. Racing, rallying, off-roading, or other hazardous activities. Transporting hazardous or dangerous materials or regulated substances. Sub-letting a Bexley vehicle to third parties or permitting unauthorized drivers. Operating a vehicle while impaired by alcohol or drugs. Use for purposes for which the vehicle is not intended...

Violating these restrictions may result in immediate termination of a Bexley rental and additional charges.

8. Limitation of Liability (Bexley)

To the maximum extent permitted by English and Welsh law, Bexley will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of Bexley's services. Bexley's total liability for any claim will not exceed the total fees paid by you to Bexley in the twelve months preceding the relevant claim.

9. Bexley Jurisdiction

These Terms for Bexley are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Revisions to Terms

Bexley may modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting on Bexley’s website. Your continued use of Bexley services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
